E-Karting FAQ
Goplex does not have an age requirement, the driver must meet the minimum height requirement of at least 4’8” (142.2 cm) to ride in our karts.
Goplex offers 3 different speeds, Junior, Adult and Elite. Drivers who wish to race at an Elite level must first qualify.
The maximum weight for our karts is 290lbs recommended by the kart manufacturer.
A reservation is not required to race at Goplex, however, it is strongly recommended to reduce wait times. Clients who reserve are prioritized over racers who walk in without a reservation.
A minimum of 8 racers is required to obtain exclusivity of the track. Goplex can have up to 12 racers at a time during 1 race. To allow small groups exclusivity of the track would increase wait times during our busier periods. However, during slower times you may always ask the front desk to see if they can accommodate your request.
All drivers must wear closed-toe shoes at Goplex. Sandals or any other open-toe shoes are not permitted on track and you will not be able to race. Loose-flowing garments such as dresses and scarfs should not be worn. We recommend dressing casually.
Races are 8 minutes long, 7 of which are timed.

Yes, you can use your own helmet, but it must have a DOT or ECE certification. The helmet must be equipped with a visor or worn with safety goggles.
The use of our helmets is included in all our packages. However, wearing a balaclava underneath our helmet is mandatory. Goplex sells balaclavas for $ 2.95, and it can be reused on your next visit.

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended for groups.

Yes! Our trained staff will teach you safety and technique before you start.
Ages 10+ (must be accompanied by an adult if under 16). A parent or guardian must sign a waiver before participating.
